- Jacob is a manipulative, selfish, blackmailing & immature person.
Hes constantly pressuring Bella, and not thinking about whats best for her.
He only thinks about himself.
He doesn't want Bella to be with Edward cause he wants to be with her.
He doesn't want Bella to be a vampire cause he doesn't like vampires.
He knows bloody well that she'll be fine as a vamp so I don't want to hear the excuse that Jacobs worried about her.
He knows how much pain and confusion hes causing her but he doesn't give a f**k because hes a selfish boy.
Edward was with her first. She wants to be with Edward but Jacob can't seem to get that through his thick, idiotic head.
Don't start on "but Edward left". Yes, he DID. He did it with the best intentions and everything was resolved in the end. He is mature and he actually cares about Bellas feelings. He'd let Bella go with Jacob, but Jacob doesn't want Bella to go with Edward. Do not get me started on the kiss in the woods. Disgusting.
But I'm not blaming this all on Jacob. I wanted to strangle Bella too. Who cares about Jacobs pain. Let him deal with it. This 'love triangle' happens to a lot of people but they deal with it. Bella has the love of her life standing right infront of her, but she moans and bitches and runs off to keep her friend happy. She can't buck up the courage to tell Jacob to f**k off and stop being such a manipulative, abusive male. Yes, Edward wouldn't let her go see Jacob a few times, but who would blame him? And he did lighten up, but Jacob never did. And wolves are dangerous. One word: Emily. And Jacob nearly lost it a few times with Bella.
I do admit like I liked Jacob for a few pages @ the start of New Moon, when he was still human. But then he turned into horny, manipulative, pressuring and annoying little muscle man.
I agree that he helped Bella somewhat get out of her depression, but I still think she would've been okay without him.
Edward is smart, mature, cute, protective, caring, understanding, compassionate, blah blah etc.
+ Bella would've never been truely happy with Jacob
